Dawn Griffin

Mrs. Dawn Griffin joined Trinity Christian Academy in 2017. Dawn is a certified teacher, received her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, and received certifications in Orton-Gillingham-based reading recovery programs. Dawn previously ran successful in-home preschool and tutoring programs. She is passionate about impacting children’s lives by helping them develop a faith in Jesus and through Christian education. Her belief in creating a partnership with parents has been a foundation in all of her career, ministry, and business endeavors. Because of this passion, she has led various children’s programs at the church she and her husband attend. During the early years of homeschooling her children, God gave her a vision of a school similar to NAUMS, although she was not aware of NAUMS at the time. The journey to see the fulfillment of this dream took many years and allowed her to be a part of many wonderful organizations and work with many talented educators. In 2008, Dawn became a founding board member, director, and teacher of Crossroads Christian Connection. One of their co-ops, Hope Christian Co-op, began in 2009 and had many NAUMS characteristics. In 2016, Hope was launched as a new organization named Hope Christian Academy and officially became a NAUMS developing school. Dawn has been married to her husband, Daniel, since 1993 and has two adult children and one grandchild.
